Redefining Investment Search in Türkiye's Precious Metals Market
Odeabank is a financial institution in Turkey that serves retail and corporate clients through digital banking services. It provides banking products and investment solutions designed for a wide range of financial needs.
In a highly competitive financial search landscape, investment queries represent an area where user intent is well defined and close to the decision stage. Gaining a stronger position in organic search and building visibility for high-intent searches was therefore a central priority.
Challenges
SEO in the finance sector is particularly sensitive because of both intense competition and the industry's focus on trust and regulation. For investment-related searches in particular, users expect accurate, reliable information.
Against this backdrop, Odeabank needed greater visibility in non-brand searches and a stronger competitive position for high-intent investment queries. Some pages also addressed more than one search intent, making it difficult for the content to remain focused.
Strengthening search engine signals also required investment content with the right depth, recency, and breadth of coverage.
Our Goal
Our main goal for Odeabank was to reduce reliance on branded searches and build strong visibility in non-brand, high-intent investment queries.
To support that goal, we set a target of increasing monthly organic traffic beyond 100K and reaching top-ranking positions for investment-focused searches.
As part of the strategy, investment pages were reorganized under a clearer structure so each page could focus on a single search intent. Separate pages were created for different investment types, including foreign currency and gold, making the content structure easier to understand and more goal-oriented.
On the content side, we built a comprehensive structure around investment terminology to address users' information-seeking journeys directly. This helped the site cover high-volume informational searches while creating strong connections between related content.
We also enriched calculation tools and investment pages to better match user intent and expand content coverage. These pages were supported through internal linking and information architecture improvements, while fast content production around current search trends helped capture new opportunity areas.
