Compound Anchor Text

Compound anchor text combines characteristics of different anchor-text types. It may include a brand name, target keyword, and money keyword in the same link, as in "click for brand name phone models, brand name phone prices." It is a recommended anchor-text type. If a site repeatedly receives backlinks through money or exact-match anchor text, Google may view the pattern as non-organic. Compound anchor text can help make a backlink profile appear more natural.
