Majestic's Trust Flow metric scores a website's trustworthiness from 0 to 100 by assessing the quality of its backlink portfolio. Links to or from poor-quality websites can lower the score, while backlinks from authoritative websites with strong Trust Flow may help raise it. Improvement takes time and consistent work, so webmasters should avoid spam links and black hat tactics.
Trust Flow is most useful when compared with Citation Flow, Majestic's companion metric for link quantity. A site with high Citation Flow but low Trust Flow may have accumulated plenty of links from weak or irrelevant places; a stronger ratio suggests that its links are coming from sources Majestic considers more credible. Neither score is a Google ranking factor or an official measure of trust. They are third-party estimates, best used to compare a backlink profile over time or against similar sites, rather than as a number to optimize in isolation.
